ThirdLeaf NW continues to find ways to give back to our community. Even prior to the current outbreak, ThirdLeaf NW works diligently to be a positive impact in our community. We do this through weekly donations to Northwest Harvest and other organizations on a case-by-case basis.
We’re elated then, to announce that we’ve been working with the Bellevue Fire Department to continue making that positive impact and help people who may not be able to get the assistance they need otherwise. Without them, this donation delivery would not have been possible and we’re grateful to Bellevue Fire for it.
Bellevue Fire reached out to ThirdLeaf NW because we are a women-owned business and it was important to them that BFD support a women-owned business while donating to a women’s shelter.
ThirdLeaf and Bellevue Fire partnered together last week to deliver 60 individually-packaged meals along with fresh fruit, healthy snacking options and smart energy drinks from another of our donation partners.
Yesterday, we arrived at The Sophia Way and stocked the wraps and sides before lunch to properly surprise the women’s shelter. ThirdLeaf NW will continue to delivery lunch options to The Sophia Way with the help of Bellevue Fire weekly and plan to continue making donations to the shelter.
What is The Sophia Way?
TSW is a not-for-profit organization designed to aid Seattle-area women experiencing homelessness. It is the goal of The Sophia Way to make homelessness “rare, brief and one-time to the women experiencing it.” Their mission is simple: to end homelessness for women by providing shelter, social services, and permanent housing with support.
We can help your organization as well. If you would like to donate your services or wares to local shelters or frontline responders, please contact us. We’d love to help you make a difference in your community.
