As summer reaches its peak, finding ways to cool off and feel refreshed can be a challenge. Whether you’re lounging by the lake, heading to the beach, or strolling through your local park, we’ve got the perfect solution for beating the heat: homemade fruit popsicles!

The first thing you must get are popsicle molds. You can find these in your local Target, Walmart, or you can order them on Amazon. These molds normally will come with reusable sticks so you can use them again and again.
Then you need to pick a fruit. According to certified culinary scientist and author, Jessica Gavin, pureeing naturally sweetened fruit with a hint of lemon or lime can reduce the overall icy texture of your popsicles. Adding juices such as orange, lemon, guava, grape, or apple juice will result in a popsicle that melts slower. Combining these flavors and even adding some slices of fruit can take your frozen treats to the next level.
After that, you will need to freeze them for at least 4-6 hours but freezing them overnight is always your best bet to have them completely solidified.
Our favorite popsicle from Jessica is the Tropical one: 4 cups mango, 2 cups coconut milk, 3 tablespoons orange juice and 3 tablespoons honey. Simply delicious. Let us know what you think!
